“After years of struggling to know where to start the process of transitioning my sister into SIL we stumbled across Guardien Group quite by accident. They have helped us every step of the way with our vision and continue to do so. As my sister lived with my mother for 42 years you can imagine it hasn’t been smooth sailing and I’m sure many more difficult situations to overcome. They have been nothing but supportive, listened to our needs, and continue working towards our goals for her to live a happy healthy life in supported living arrangements.
They treat her like one of their family and we feel very grateful to know she is being cared for in a loving supportive environment.”
“Our son has been with Guardien Group for seven years now (since 2013). During this time Guardien Group have provided a safe and loving environment, where he lives in a supported independent living arrangement. The management and staff are always friendly and approachable, nothing seems to be too hard. The home where our son lives is lovely, where he and his co-tenant are supported to live an independent life as much as possible and cared for. They both assist in keeping their home clean and contribute to daily activities with assistance from their carers, these include meal preparation, housekeeping, gardening etc. which makes it a place they are proud to call home. Guardien Group have become a big part of his life, now it is like a second family to him. Our son also has support in the community provided by Guardien Group where he participates in daily activities including, grocery shopping, visiting local stores and entertainment.
The support and expertise provided by the Guardien Group team made dealing with the complexity and arduous journey with NDIS that much smoother, their knowledge and support structures was invaluable, in fact not sure how we would have managed without them.”
“We are elderly parents of a handicapped daughter, Susan. In recent years our focus has been to make adequate provisions for her when we are deceased. We had the good fortune to be directed to the Guardien Group at Capalaba some sixteen months ago. They arranged for Susan to live independently in a shared house with 24 hours care. They have proved to be extremely knowledgeable, compassionate people who have engaged dedicated carers that treat their charges as they would members of their own families. Our fears for the future have been allayed.
We would have no hesitation in recommending Guardien Group to anyone whose circumstances are similar to our.”
